Today marks 100 years since Parliament passed a law that allowed the first women, and all men, to vote.
The Houses of Parliament approached Premm to create a graphical montage for their Vote 100 campaign, which celebrates this milestone through various activities, exhibitions, talks and tours.
Using a timeline device to represent the period of time that has passed since this milestone, we added strong images of women throughout recent history to showcase the development of women’s rights up until the modern day.
We took inspiration from numerous collections of suffragette campaigns, newspaper clippings and wearable paraphernalia.
