Exhibition space invaders!

A bit of Friday retro-gaming nostalgia from illustrator Jamie Sneddon. We have worked with Jamie in the past on projects for BT, so great to see this collaboration between him and photographer Kevin Rozario-Johnson to produce this 8-bit gaming goodness.

Gotta collect ‘em all

Premm have been commissioned again this year to design and produce the BBC Proms programmes, which can be bought at the individual Proms events. This year to make them a bit more collectable, 4 covers have been produced that when lined up create the Proms 2010 Brand image in all it’s glory.

Macusers

Flicking through this months Macuser we have spotted the new BBC Proms 2010 illustration by Andy Potts. The feature consists of 2 glorious double page spreads about showcasing Andy Potts, who we commissioned to create the Proms brand image this year after 2 successful years. The article can be seen here below.

Pick me up

On an adventure to expand our creative minds and to hopefully pick up a bargain, both Kevin and myself (Neil Wearing) decided a trip to Somerset House to visit the UK’s first contemporary graphic art fair ‘Pick me up’.

The work is by an international selection of graphic artists and illustrators who represent the diversity of styles, methods, techniques and applications that are being used, combined and re-combined in the world of graphic design and illustration today. Most of the work on display is for sale ranging from a simple £20 to a massive £5000 (although could be more, that was the largest sum I spotted on my jaunt around the various pieces).

The most interesting feature has got to be Rob Ryan’s relocated studio, allowing a fantastic insight into their working practice.
