Sharing, debating and celebrating our right to vote

Thursday 24 May 2018

Premm were asked to create a family friendly board game as part of Houses of Parliament’s Equaliteas campaign. Celebrating 90 years since the Representation of People Act, the board game showcases a timeline of events from then until the modern day in an engaging and fun manner. The players move around the board answering QUIZ and CAMPAIGN cards, learning historical facts as they go along. We designed the game layout to be printed onto a tablecloth, which fitted perfectly with the EqualiTeas idea...

An Antarctic Exploration

Wednesday 04 April 2018

The Polar Museum at the Scott Polar Research Institute contacted Premm in regards to creating a children’s’ activity leaflet for families to use to follow a self-guided trail around the museum. The trail focuses on the so-called ‘Heroic Era of Exploration’, in particular making connections to the collections relating to the Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. The leaflet allows the user to create their own ‘Shackleton’ inspired journey through a variety of...

Much Ado About… Quite A Lot

Friday 23 February 2018

Over the past 7 years, Shakespeare’s Globe has commissioned Premm to produce the look and feel for the Deutsche Bank sponsored initiative Playing Shakespeare. The Shakespeare productions are created specifically for young people, with 180,000 free tickets given to London school pupils focusing on a different play every time, this year being ‘Much Ado About Nothing’. The design process differed this time as Shakespeare’s Globe has recently gone through a rebrand, which meant the new guidelines...

One such project for RHS Qualifications saw us tasked with creation of graphic panels for their stand at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, which was built to look like a miniature potting shed! The panels were a mixture of inspirational quotes, engaging imagery and info graphics, all styled to sit comfortably within the space and...

LCN > LDN, a design talk

Tuesday 31 January 2017

Premm as a whole take design education seriously, having all come from various universities around the country and all having very different experiences in teaching methods and design focuses, it is important to encourage the next generation of designers and I suppose… have some fun doing it. One of our designers Jess did exactly that. Having been in industry and with us for over a year now, she was invited back to the University of Lincoln with Natasha Nuttall to present a talk about their experiences....
