Shakespeare Son Et Lumiere

Friday 15 April 2016

As part of the ongoing commemorations of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, Premm were invited to design the creative for the spectacular Son Et Lumiere show; which took place on London’s historic Guildhall in March.

Shakespeare-1

The free light and sound performance used period music and images from the City of London’s extensive archives, and was in collaboration with Guildhall Library and Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Using video technology, the Dance Porch of the 15th century Guildhall was illuminated with 3D projection mapping to transform irregularly shaped objects and surfaces to create an extraordinary living display of sound and colour.

To reflect the feel of the event we created a photomontage to symbolise the many moving elements and details that would be projected onto the building.
