We were briefed to design a magazine for Colliers International that gives an insight into various aspects of the retail and commercial property sector. We wanted to design a magazine that has a lifestyle approach, lighter on text and more image led than what would be expected of an industry publication. The features and news spreads highlight brands that are actively planning for growth and expansion. From the London bar and restaurant scene through to nationwide retail opportunities, the stories are designed with a mix of commissioned illustration and photography, infographics and strong typography. Mark Phillipson, Director – Investment, Colliers International states: “It’s hard to think of a time in retailing that has been more exciting and full of possibility than today.” The interesting mix of diverse market sectors, reflected through the choice of imagery, gives the publication pace and contrast throughout. The magazine has become a vital part of the marketing mix at European events for Colliers International.
