Directors UK is the professional association of UK screen directors. It is both a collecting society and campaigning body with over 7,500 members. We were asked to produce the new Membership brochure, branding The Directors’ Festival, as well as various reports key to the vision of the organisation. We built on the strength of the existing brand and designed a distinctive set of items portraying the UK’s moving image directors at work and celebrating their craft. A director’s chair graphic was created to represent the individual being given a voice at the heart of the industry by joining the Directors UK community.
