The Houses of Parliament continues to be the working building for both the House of Commons and House of Lords, and it is also open for visits and events throughout the year. The Visitor Experience team in Parliament were looking to raise the profile of the Houses of Parliament as a visitor attraction for both UK and global visitors. We were invited to produce a creative campaign, working within the new UK Parliament visual identity, that inspired visitors to step inside and experience the history, heritage and role of UK Parliament. We utilised a combination of art directed photography, architectural imagery from the estate and archive material to create an engaging set of layered visuals. The resulting montages placed contemporary visitors alongside Parliamentarians and changemakers from the past, and within the architecture of the buildings themselves. These rich designs were applied to poster sites, digital and print adverts, and bus sides.
