Mustique lies in the stream of islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines, a hundred miles west of Barbados. The island is formed of dramatic hilltops and pristine palm fringed beaches. The tourism marketing team for Mustique was looking for a fresh brand identity to inspire new visitors to experience the exclusive private island. We identified that the branding needed to let the breath-taking imagery of the Island speak for itself. Our approach was to combine stunning photography of the landscape with elegant typography and contemporary layouts to produce an understated yet confident look and feel. This approach created a sophisticated brand to reflect the luxurious and exclusive nature of the island. We rolled this new look and feel out across both print and digital assets to produce a seamless journey across channels. The brand was also developed to create a sub-brand for the Cotton House, the only hotel on the island.
