Get up and grow is a cross garden event encouraging families
to get up and get outside to have fun together.
The brief specified that this event will appeal to younger and older children alike and the creative should appeal to both. It had to have an inclusive feel that everyone of all gardening abilities can enjoy the May half term event and engage with the campaign.
We decided to go along the illustrative route for this campaign to represent the variety of flowers and pollinators across the gardens. This allowed us to create a look and feel that appealed to the target audience and was colourful and exciting for the reopening of the gardens after the lockdown.
Even though this campaign was across all of the gardens we were especially excited to be producing materials for their latest addition of RHS Garden Bridgewater.
The garden is the fifth RHS garden and one of the largest gardening projects undertaken in Europe in recent years. The transformation of this 154-acre green space near Salford hopes to enrich the lives of local communities and their environment for the future.
