Brief
To create a festival identity for 2014 based around the Bowler Hat, linking the arts with the city.
Solution
This year, annual arts event The City of London Festival had a new pop-up Bowler Hat venue based in Paternoster Square. Our approach was to create a simple iconic image that reflected a light-hearted view of the city. So we took the bowler hat image and used it to design a vibrant pop art identity for the festival, applied to digital and print media.
