The Branding of the Shrew

Tuesday 04 July 2017

For a consecutive sixth year The Globe Theatre approached Premm to produce the look and feel for their Playing Shakespeare production. The initiative which is part of Deutsche Bank’s ‘Born To Be’ programme enables over 16,000 London school pupils to experience live Shakespeare in the Globe Theatre. The branding for this years play, the Taming of the Shrew was designed to focus on the concept of reflections and themes of sibling rivalry, love and family tension. LCN > LDN, a design talk

Tuesday 31 January 2017

Premm as a whole take design education seriously, having all come from various universities around the country and all having very different experiences in teaching methods and design focuses, it is important to encourage the next generation of designers and I suppose… have some fun doing it. One of our designers Jess did exactly that. Having been in industry and with us for over a year now, she was invited back to the University of Lincoln with Natasha Nuttall to present a talk about their experiences....

Show Sixteen

Tuesday 31 May 2016

For the past couple of years Sophie has travelled back to the University of Lincoln, where she graduated from in 2011, to do a bit of talent spotting at the Graphic Design Degree Show. Last year Sophie attended Show{Fifteen} and recruited me to intern here at Premm. It’s amazing how time flies, because that it’s that time of year again, but this time it was my turn – having since joined the Premm team as a designer – travelling back to Lincoln, now as alumni, with fellow designer and blogger...

Pick Me Up 2016, Kitching & Friends!

Friday 29 April 2016

It is very rare we get the chance to go out as a whole bunch of us from Premm, so when Pick Me Up opened its doors at Somerset House for 2016 we were all very much up for it! I mean who doesn’t love seeing what the cultural arts have to offer each year, especially when some bring such a smile to your face like these Little ‘Floam Buddy’s’ did to Jess’. (Pictured: Floam Buddy TRIO, by Julian Glander) We all had our favourite pieces, Sophie was particularly taken with these beautiful Pastel...

Event Goodies

Who doesn’t like free beer, free food and not to mention… FREE PAPER?! As designers we tend to get a tad excited by new ranges and stocks. So, when our newest recruit Jessica got the opportunity to tag along with designer and blogger friend Natasha to G.F Smith’s launch party for their new Gmund Applied collection, she jumped at the chance. Held in the basement of Bierschenke, London’s Authentic Munich Beer Hall at Moorgate. We descended down the steps and were greeted by a designer’s...
