Premm as a whole take design education seriously, having all come from various universities around the country and all having very different experiences in teaching methods and design focuses, it is important to encourage the next generation of designers and I suppose… have some fun doing it. One of our designers Jess did exactly that. Having been in industry and with us for over a year now, she was invited back to the University of Lincoln with Natasha Nuttall to present a talk about their experiences....

As part of Secret 7” this year Sophie, Jess and Kevin attended a talk on the ‘Art of Song’ at Sonos Studios. The talk was an exploration and scission of the role of artwork in the current music landscape presented by music artist Tom Vek. Talking typography

This weekend Sophie decided to pop along to some typography-based events in conjunction with the Stoke Newington Literary Festival in East London. These included the Ghost Signs tour and a talk by Type Tasting. The Ghost Signs tour did not disappoint. Our guide’s knowledge of the signs and their history was in-depth and well spoken about, the two hours seemed to pass by very quickly with us visiting about fifteen sites in total.
